Why it's Different

How to Use

Check your seat width first. The Roam is a universal 54 inch fit for standard sedans, family cars, SUVs, and trucks. If your back seat is unusually narrow or wide, measure before ordering.

Install using the four anchor points, two headrest straps and two seat anchors, so it stays in place rather than shifting.

Thread a seat belt through the zippered openings if your dog also wears a crash-tested harness. The Roam works alongside a harness, not instead of one.

If your dog already dreads the car, don't start with a long drive. Fit it, let them get in with the engine off, feed them on it, then drive to the end of the road and back. A few short, uneventful trips build the association faster than one long one.

Unzip the hammock panel to fold it flat anytime you need the back seat for passengers instead.

I installed it on mazda 2, and it fits well. i haven't used this seat protector on a trip yet, but the material feels heavy-duty, thick, and genuinely waterproof right out of the package. the zippers for the middle armrest segment function smoothly, and the headrest straps look sturdy enough to hold up well.

A decent cover (really good quality for the price). The material shines a bit, but this makes it easier to remove dust and hair. I didn't put it directly on leather seats because the material on the bottom is quite rough. I placed a small blanket underneath. I recommend it. Fits BMW touring series 3.

The size of the light vehicles varies, but the fabric seems to be of good quality. It's a size unique to Japan's design, so it can't be helped, but I think it's not bad.

Will this protect my dog in a crash?

No. The Roam is a seat cover, not a restraint. It stops your dog sliding around during normal driving, but it won't hold them in a crash, and no seat cover will. If your dog travels regularly, use a crash-tested harness or secured travel crate alongside it. The zippered openings let you thread a seat belt through for exactly this.

What size back seat does it fit?

One universal size, 54 inches across, built for standard sedans, family cars, SUVs, and trucks. Most back seats measure between 50 and 56 inches wide. If yours falls outside that range, check your seat width before ordering.

Can I still use a harness or seatbelt with it?

Yes. There are zippered seat-belt openings built into the panel specifically so you can thread a belt through for a harness.

My dog already hates the car. Will this fix that?
