For the dogs who feel the world a little too loud.
Some dogs move through life easily. Others notice everything — the suitcase coming out of the cupboard, the particular sound of keys being picked up. For them, the world is a lot. And watching it is its own kind of exhausting.
That's who we make things for.
HOW WE STARTED
ZenCalm didn't begin as a product. It began because almost nobody was talking about this.
Dog anxiety was everywhere — the reactive dog across the street, the puppy crying at 3am, the shaking under the bed every November — and owners were mostly working it out alone. Blaming themselves. Being told their dog was stubborn when what they had was a frightened animal.
So we started talking about it, and found other people who cared as much as we did. Owners, trainers, rescuers, all wanting the same thing: for dogs to feel safe in as many moments as possible.
The products came from listening to them.
WHAT WE MAKE
Gentle, naturally-made calming essentials for dogs — for fireworks, empty houses, car journeys, waiting rooms.
Nothing we make is a cure, and we'd never claim it was. What we aim for is a lower baseline: a dog who settles faster and meets the world with a bit more room to cope. For a lot of dogs, that's the difference between a bad night and a manageable one.
We're dog people first. Because when our dogs hurt, we hurt.
