Why it's Different

Nothing safe fully blocks sound, and any product that claims to should raise questions. The Hush works differently. It's a soft stretch snood that lays a dog's ears gently flat against the skull, which muffles sharp, sudden sound rather than eliminating it. A firework lands as a dull thud instead of a crack.

How to Use

Put it on before the noise starts, not after. Once a dog is already over threshold, adding something new to their head is one more thing to cope with, not a fix.

Let your dog settle into it as part of a quiet evening, rather than reaching for it as a rescue mid panic.

Introduce it slowly the first few times. Let your dog sniff it first. Slide it on for five seconds, then take it off, with something good happening in between. Build up to a minute, then to a full evening. Rushing this is the most common reason a snood ends up unused in a drawer.

Use it well beyond storms and fireworks too. It also helps with the groomer's force dryer, the vacuum, road works outside, or a long drive with the windows down.

It worked well! The dogs were quite calm and comfortable with the protector. I hope it works on New Year's Eve, when there will be fireworks.

The muffler is nice. I already have a gray one, size M, but it was too big for my cats and even for my medium-sized dog, so I bought this size S (P) and it fit them perfectly. I liked it. It's only for drying after a shower.

It seems okay, although I think they are a bit close together; there is very little separation between the ear pieces, and I'm not sure if it really covers them well, but it does the job.

Just like the photo, it's very nice but it's too small for a French Bulldog, the Velcro doesn't reach, it looks of good quality.

It arrived, but it was too small for my medium-sized German Spitz. It would have to be a size M. 😓 And due to its design, there's no way to make it bigger, because it has a bra-like padding for each ear, and it's an elastic fabric. It almost closed, but it didn't. It won't be usable. I have to buy a bigger one.
